Newsflash: Seeking Excellence for Creating Competitive Products – The Commissioning Test Run of Nickel and Cobalt Hydroxide CCD Washing Process of Lygend OBI Island HPAL Project is Started

Following the full production of Lygend OBI Island HPAL Project Phase I on October 24, 2021, the stand-alone test run and commissioning test run of the nickel-cobalt hydroxide CCD washing process were successfully completed on December 19, 2021, completing an important step in elevating the HPAL Project from "products" to "competitive products".

The nickel-cobalt hydroxide CCD washing process is to wash nickel-cobalt hydroxide through a thickener against current, which can greatly reduce the contents of impurities such as magnesium sulfate and sodium sulfate in nickel-cobalt hydroxide products, thereby greatly increasing the nickel-cobalt content of the product. This process will further improve the quality of MHP's finished products, provide customers with higher-quality products, and strongly guarantee the supply of raw materials for the development of new energy industry.

This Sub-project was constructed by China National Chemical Engineering Sixth Construction Co., Ltd., and cooperating fully with the Lygend proprietor, jointly promoted the successful operation of the nickel-cobalt hydroxide CCD washing process project.
