On November 10, a delegation led by Cai Jianyong, Chairman of Lygend Resources, visited the OBI Park to guide work. Zhang Baodong, General Manager, and Yu Hai, Vice General Manager of OBI Park Management Company, Hu Honggen, et. al. accompanied the delegation.
At 8:30 am, Chairman Cai was accompanied by Shi Wentang, HPL Executive Vice President, Xu Yaowu, Vice President, Jin Tao, Head of the Technology Department, Guo Shaomin, Head of the Electrical and Instrument Department and other relevant officers to the production and construction sites of HPAL Phase I and Phase II, and personally visited the frontline production workshop to understand the production situation. While listening to the on-site personnel in charge, Chairman Cai personally felt the product quality and pointed out the need to continue maintaining a clean and orderly production environment with a good image and a good environment was an important guarantee for improving production efficiency and product quality.
HPAL Production Site
Subsequently, Chairman Cai arrived at the construction sites of the ONC project and the nickel sulfate project. Zhang Lei, HPL Deputy Chief Engineer, introduced the progress and construction situation of the nickel sulfate project to him. Chairman Cai emphasized that on-site production and construction would encounter many problems and difficulties, and it was very important to control every aspect of the site. He said that he would actively coordinate with everyone to effectively solve various problems on site, and strive to ensure that all projects on the site could be steadily carried forward as required and put into production as planned.
Nickel Sulfate Project
Chairman Cai came to the HPAL Terminal again and, accompanied by Zhang Tao, Director of Terminal Operations and Management, he inspected the terminal waterways, anchorage spaces, berths and various supporting facilities. Chairman Cai emphasized that the continuous construction of the terminal and the planning of freight throughput were crucial, not only to meet the needs of production and life, but also to leave sufficient space for future freight growth.

At 14:00, Chairman Cai, accompanied by the officers such as Wei Xiangfang, Ni Shumin, Wang Duodong, Li Xiang, Li Yujun, Zhang Jihong, Zhao Xiao, Chen Mingtao, et. al., visited the 4# production line of HJK's RKEF Project Phase I, which had already been put into operation. Chairman Cai inspected the equipment and facilities such as the submerged arc furnace, rotary kiln, and gas station one by one. He pointed out that the smooth iron production of the 4# production line was a valuable experience; on this basis, the construction and operation of the remaining 7 RKEF lines should be carried out well, and each engineering node should be implemented properly and the construction progress of each section should be controlled well while ensuring quality.
Accompanied by General Manager Wang Biao and Deputy General Manager Fan Songyong of OBI Power Plant, Chairman Cai inspected the coal unloading terminal of HJF Power Plant and immediately held a symposium in the administrative office building of HJF. At the meeting, Chairman Cai carefully listened to the reports of department heads on the site. Finally, Chairman Cai analyzed the domestic and international economic situation based on the geographical advantages of OBI Island and the development blueprint of Lygend, and put forward three requirements in consideration of the internal and external market environment: firstly, it is required to effectively improve the on-site production and living environment, which is a necessary condition for maintaining the company's image, improving production efficiency, and building a livable town; secondly, it is necessary to continuously learn and understand the latest trends in the industry, in order to achieve the maximum potential in the shortest possible time; thirdly, it is required is to implement corporate responsibility, achieve resource conservation and environmental friendliness while ensuring production, and better promote Lygend's brand and showcase Chinese wisdom. Chairman Cai's speech with clear viewpoints and innovative perspectives made the attendees feel fresh and inspired, and the meeting came to a successful conclusion with enthusiastic applause.
