2022.8.4 Company Strategy Training

As the elites in implementing the Company's overall strategy, middle and senior executives have always played an important role in enterprise management and execution. For the purpose of encouraging the executives at all levels to stay focused on the Company's strategy, enhance organizational capacity, and promote the achievement of objectives, goals and key tasks under the pre-condition of fully understanding the industry, Lygend Resources & Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company" or "Lygend") organized the "Corporate Strategy Training" on August 4, invited Jiang Xinfang, the Company's President, to give a lecture for the training, so that the Company's middle and senior executives can master true expertise and practical skills to pursue constant self-improvement. More than 400 middle and senior executives from the Ningbo headquarters and the subsidiaries Shanghai, Suqian, Xi'an, Foshan, Indonesian Jakarta, and Indonesian OBI Island participated in the training online and offline.

 

 

01 Analysis of the Industry

 

Industry development has always been the "compass" for formulating corporate strategies. Only by having developed a deeper understanding of the industry and market can we better understand the Company's strategic initiatives. Analysis of the industry is essential for every executive to lead the employees to victory. Taking Lygend's positioning as the starting point, President Jiang shared systematic ideas from three aspects, including the entire nickel industry chain, new energy and the stainless steel industry, and industry overview, and taking key arenas as entry points, focused on interpreting the opportunities and challenges existing in the industry. Through professional, comprehensive, and thorough industry analysis, President Jiang interpreted the opportunities and challenges for Lygend's development, and provided important guidance for the participating executives to compare notes, reach consensus and identify key work areas where breakthroughs are most likely.

 

02 Strategic Initiatives

 

The journey ahead may be long and arduous, but with sustained actions, we will eventually reach our destination and embrace a brighter future. From the perspective of the overall development of the Company, President Jiang elaborated the Company's strategic panorama for the first time to middle and senior executives. From strategic goals to strategic maps, and from strategic cooperation to management goals, a grand strategic blueprint was gradually unfolded before the eyes of these executives. Through the training, the middle and senior executives have developed a new understanding of the Company's strategic initiatives and business development directions; the drawing of the strategic map has also prompted them to think deeply about the Company's business development, strategic layout, and implementation. In the future, we will also propose higher management goals based on the Company's strategic goals: first, re-upgrading of park-based construction; second, constructing the digital system; third, using R&D capabilities to lead the Company's development; fourth, further improving localization capabilities; fifth, improving the management system; and sixth, pursuing sustainable development of ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance).

 

 

03 Organizational Capacity Building

 

Organizational capacity is key to ensuring the continuous success of the Company's strategy. During the training, President Jiang explained organizational capacity with profundity and an easy-to-understand approach, continuous success of the Company = business strategy × organizational capacity. Business strategy and organizational growth complement each other. Only by placing organizational capacity building in the same important position as business strategy can we go forward together and achieve leapfrog development. Based on such philosophy, President Jiang proposed in details the initiatives to build and enhance Lygend's core organizational capacity in terms of establishing a group-based organizational control mechanism, improving the human resources management system, implementing the Thousand Talents Program for bringing in talents, establishing a talent development mechanism, improving the assessment and incentive mechanism for competitiveness, optimizing the talent training model, improving the cadre management mechanism, and building an excellent team of cadres.

Finally, based on his many years of management experience and his profound interpretation of Lygend's culture, President Jiang synthesized the "profile" of Lygend's core organizational capacity, and extended his ardent expectation for middle and senior executives from the perspectives of the Company's strategy -- he hoped that middle and senior executives would adhere to the corporate purpose of "striving for excellence through persistent hard work", implement the corporate culture of "openness, sharing, responsibility and innovation", and strive to be the champions and practitioners of the Company's culture, the guardians of the Company's interests and values, the performers and achievers of the Company's goals and tasks, and the persons responsible for team building and development. In subsequent development, the Company will further strengthen the building of cadre teams and improve their management levels, to provide sufficient intellectual support for Lygend's continuous success!

This training is highly targeted, so that the Company's middle and senior executives can get their ideas into shape and achieve unity in thinking. It provided strong guidance for middle and senior executives to understand the Company's strategies and strategic initiatives and refine implementation of strategic goals. It also played a positive role in further enhancing the strategic coordination capabilities of the Company's key business sectors, establishing effective strategic closed-loop management, and promoting the effective implementation of strategic goals.
